Can Food Waste Cause Harm?

​Before we go ahead it's important to raise awareness to understand the issue that food waste causes to our planet if not recycled correctly. 

Food waste happens at stages of the supply chain, from farm to fork this happens in homes, restaurants, shops, schools, care homes and even during transportation.
Food Waste in landfills also looses the effort of valuable resources, including water, energy, and labour gone into creating the food and the waste then contributes to greenhouse gas emissions due to the fact that decomposing food waste matter in landfills produces methane 25 x more harmful than c02. So in theory yes food waste does cause harm, this is why recycling is so important.
